The Patagonia Wilderness and Travel Medicine CME Conferences visit one of the premier scenic mountain areas on the planet!
Chile's Torres del Paine and Argentina's Los Glaciares National Parks are among the great scenic wonders of the world! This is a pilgrimage which all passionate mountain-lovers must do at least once in their lifetime. This extraordinary trip brings you to the very heart of both of these legendary regions. We begin in remote reaches of Los Glaciares Park with spectacular views of Cerro Torre, Fitzroy and the Southern Patagonia Ice Field.
Next, we cross into Chile, where we explore Torres del Paine, an icon for dramatic mountain scenery! We'll see jaw-dropping vistas of rock spires, jagged snowy peaks, the huge expanse of the Patagonia Ice Field, tranquil azure lakes, and golden grasslands bright with wildflowers. Each night, we'll savor the days activities over tasty meals in cozy lodges.
The Wilderness Medicine education will take place each evening before dinner.

DAY 2 Tour of Glacier Perito Moreno, including a boat tour. This in one of the most spectacular glaciers in the Southern Patagonian ice field. Lodging and dinner at the Los Hielos. (B+L+D)
DAY 3 Private bus tour to Torres Del Paine National Park. Arrive around lunchtime at the award-winning EcoCamp for the next 4 nights. Discover the most beautiful treasures of Torres del Paine NP while enjoying superb comfort at the new sustainable EcoCamp’s Suite Domes. Breathtaking views of the Torres from your doorstep. The next 4 days you will have options - from easy to strenuous hikes. The most impressive and famous hikes in Torres Del Paine will all be offered. (Grey Glacier, the Mighty Torres and the French Valley. (B+L+D)
DAY 4 Hiking options in Torres Del Paine – Today’s trek is spectacular! You will view the 3 pink granite towers with its glacial lake below that made the park famous. (7 hours). Return to Eco Camp. There will be a less strenuous trekking option. (B+L+D)
DAY 5 Hiking options in Torres Del Paine.
Trek along enchanting Lake Grey (3-4 hours, 11km) with magnificent views of Glacier Grey and floating icebergs. Then board the Grey II boat, 2 hours navigation on this magical lake full of icebergs circling around in front of the glacier. Return to Eco Camp (B+L+D)
DAY 6 Hiking Options in Torres Del Paine.
Transfer by van across the park to Lake Pehoe. (1hr). We will cross Lake Pehoe by catamaran and then begin the trek to the French Valley. Return to Eco Camp. (B+L+D)

DAY 8 Transfer to Hosteria El Pilar (17 km from town). Today we will trek and explore panoramic views of the Piedras Blancas glacier. Like every day, there will be an option for less strenuous hikes. Serious trekkers can reach “Laguna de Los Tres”, the best panoramic point of the Fitz Roy! (B+L+D)
DAY 9 Full day trek to Cerro Torre – Overnight at Hosteria Los Senderos (B+L)
DAY 10 Hike to Pampa de las Carretas where you will encounter beautiful panoramic views of the Fitz Roy and Torre hills. Overnight at Hosteria Senderos. (B+L+D)
DAY 11 Navigation across Lago Viedma with spectacular views of the Viedma Glacier, the largest in the “Los Glaciares National Park”. There will be an option to adventure on to the glacier for some ice trekking. Overnight at Los Hielos. (L+D)
DAY 12 Transfers to El Calafate for your flight back home (at any time necessary).
